Eve of the Dead
The world as we know it has fallen into a state of chaos. The dead are rising, and are attacking the last remaining living people. Businesses and residences that have not yet been overrun by the hordes of ghouls are being ransacked by looters. A small group of survivors from the countryside seek shelter and supplies at a large superstore just outside the city limits. They must use every resource available to be able to survive against marauders…the living and the dead.
This is a real action novel. If you love zombies and stories about the end of the world like me, then you’ll really enjoy this book. It is very well-written and is a fun read. I am a big fan of zombie movies, especially those of George Romero. This book really did a great job of recapturing the Romero feel in a modern way.

Plague of the Dead

As The World Dies: The First Days: A Zombie Trilogy
Two very different women flee into the Texas Hill Country on the first day of the zombie rising. Together they struggle to rescue loved ones, find other survivors, and avoid the hungry undead.
This is a great read – even for those who typically don’t read the zombie-genre (like myself). A real page-turner from the start – Frater kept me guessing from beginning to end. “As The World Dies – The First Days” offers several complex lead characters coming from diverse backgrounds; I was able to identify with each and every one of them on a different level. Can’t wait for the second installment!
